twoJust as God’s Word creates something from nothing, our words are powerful instruments of creation, producing good or bad in our own lives and in the lives of others.

There’s certainly not much recorded in the Bible about what Joseph actually said on a day-to-day basis, but we  know from his outcome and from the fact that he pleased God that he was apparently saying the right things.

Here’s a recent word from a prophetic voice:  “I have hidden a surprise for the enemy in the words you carry.  One of these words of hope will contain a final and devastating blow to the works of darkness that oppose your advancement.  Do not give up!  Continue to speak in My name and you will see these opposing forces begin to fall before you, just like David when he brought down the defiant giant, Goliath.”

What are you saying about your situation?  Did you give up speaking positive words and revert to murmuring and complaining?  Did you decide that you had stood long enough?  Did your mountain talk back to you and bring intimidation?

Listen:  The Word is near you….even in your mouth, so speak it out and continue to speak it out.  How long do you do this?  You do it until your mountain gets out of your way.  How do you know exactly which word will be the final and deciding word in your situation?  How do you know which word on which day will enable you to cross Jordan?  How do you know which declaration will part your Red Sea?  How do you know which word of faith will be the deciding blow to your enemy?  How do you know which of the five stones will fell your giant?

You don’t know which word that you release will carry the fatal blow to the walls of darkness, so don’t give up!  Your very next decree might be the very one to cause the giant in your life to die.  The earnest, heartfelt, continued prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.
