IMG_3196In Constitution of Iron, we read that Joseph was pitted, potted, and putted.  “He was thrown into a pit, lied about by Potiphar’s wife, and put right in prison.”

My book goes on to read, “Joseph seemed to have always wanted to do right, and I believe he did do right.  Yet all he seemed to get back was sorrow and pain.  Have you ever been in Joseph’s position?”  Does it seem to you that you do all the suffering while people around you seem to thrive?  Are you the tither who looks around and wonders why the “evil” seem to be the prosperous ones?  Joseph had plenty of prison time to sit and stew about how the unrighteous seemed to prosper.  I don’t believe he wasted his time doing that.  Unless the unrighteous repent, they will only “seemingly seem” to prosper!  Let’s not waste our time judging them.  Only God knows their final end.

Have you ever considered that maybe you are pitted, potted, and putted and are exactly where God wants you to be.  Have you considered that God wants us to “fight the good fight of faith” and see the salvation of the Lord in the land of the living?

Our afflictions birth great testimonies.  Testimonies win people to the Lord.

  • The greater the giant, the greater the prevailing.
  • The greater the mountain, the greater the conquest.
  • The greater the obstacle, the greater the achievement.
  • The greater the trial, the greater the exultation.
  • The greater the mission, the greater the enabling.
  • The greater the question, the greater, the answer.

God is indeed fighting for you.  Don’t get in the way!
