trellisThe problem is, we don’t want to go through anything.  Well, at least I don’t!  I’d rather be “Teflon woman” and go through without the opposition that so easily besets me.  We get confused as Christians sometimes and think we were planted in a rose garden somewhat akin to the Garden of Eden.  The truth is, even on good days, we will have tests and trials.

The Word of God tells us, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Ps. 34:19)  It’s really not what we go through so much as how we go through and that we get through.  Things are going to get rough…that’s the material great stories are born from.

  • The greater the battle, the greater the victory.
  • The greater the difficulty, the greater the deliverance.
  • The greater the problem, the greater the solution.
  • The greater the challenge, the greater the success.
  • The greater the struggle, the greater the rescue
  • The greater the opposition, the greater the triumph.

What is “your” story?  Will your testimony be one of overcoming in triumph through adversity or did you allow your dream to die on the vine?  Did you pull the plug before iron was formed in your soul?
